Dear Families,

We are nearing the end of the school year, and starting to prepare for next year. If your family is not returning to Neihardt next year, we would appreciate it if you would call the office to let us know for planning purposes. Also, if you have new neighbors who have moved in, you could let them know that registration is open for new families for next year. Existing family registration will open in June and we will send email communication over the summer.

Speaking of next year, our Administrative Intern, Josh Duncan, will be the principal at Willowdale Elementary School next year. We are so happy for Mr. Duncan but will miss having him at Neihardt.

Thank you to Mr. Newell, father of Avery & Mr. Burk, father of Yadhira who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this week. They spent their time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with their students and recess. We appreciate our Watch D.O.G.S. for coming in and volunteering.

ParentVUE and StudentVUE has transitioned to new mobile apps.

Note: Either app will work until next Fall in which users will have to transition to the new app.

Please note:

Beginning April 1st, when a parent or student opens the current ParentVUE or StudentVUE app, they will receive a notification that a new app is available. Selecting the notification will direct them to the app store to download the new app. They will see "ParentVUE (New)" or "StudentVUE (New)".
After downloading the new app, users will need to log in using their existing username and password.

We’re excited to bring back Raffle Baskets for Family Fun Night!

This year’s Family Fun Night will take place on Thursday, May 7th, and we’ll once again be raffling off themed baskets created by each grade level. These baskets are always a highlight of the evening and add so much fun and excitement for everyone!

We are asking for your support in helping us fill these baskets with donations. Please check the Sign Up Genius link for your child’s grade level and consider signing up if you’re able to contribute. Your generosity truly makes a difference and helps make this event special for our students and families.

Donations can be dropped off at the school office at any time, but please make sure all items are submitted no later than Friday, May 1st.

If you have an incoming kindergartener or new student entering Millard Public Schools for the 2026-27 school year, enrollment opened on February 1, 2026 at www.mpsomaha.org. By completing your child's enrollment as soon as possible you help us place students sooner and communicate with your family in a timely way.
