Together We Empower in First Grade
Together We EMPOWER
First Grade Uses Their VOICE!
Our first graders put persuasive writing into action by discussing ways they could use their VOICE to make a positive difference around our campus. Students reflected on our All-Star rules and expectations and created persuasive signs encouraging others to make positive choices on the playground, in the cafeteria, during Specials, in the hallways, and in classrooms.
Students wrote persuasive sentences and included the WHY behind their thinking, empowering them to see that their words and ideas can have an impact on others.
Together, we are empowering our students to use their voices, lead by example, and make our school an even better place! ⭐

Absence Reporting
Please remember all absences must be posted by the parent in Skyward. This process takes the place of you calling or emailing the school. The directions for what to do are here: https://www.prosper-isd.net/o/joes/page/attendance. One tip if you are using your phone to put in the absence request, you might want to turn your phone sideways (landscape).
