Wiggin Street Parent Update

Better Together

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

The rain did not dampen our learning this week! You can see by the pictures in this update that our students have continued to have many wonderful experiences, including 4th grade’s field trip to the Ohio Statehouse and 3rd grade's visit from Mayor Kessler and Coucil Member Jacklin.

Although we had to reschedule Wednesday’s Field Day and today’s PBIS Rocking Rocket Extra Recess, we are hopeful that brighter days are ahead. There will be no school on Monday in honor of Memorial Day. On Tuesday, we will begin the day with our morning flag ceremony followed by Field Day in the afternoon. Wednesday will start with Ian Snipes and Gilbert Stevenson arriving to school in a fire truck. Later that morning, students will enjoy the PBIS Reward, and we will wrap up the afternoon with the annual 5th Grade vs. Staff Hockey Game at 2:00 p.m.

We will finish the school year on Thursday with classroom awards, Kindergarten Graduation, 5th Grade Graduation, and our traditional clap out. Please remember that students will be dismissed two hours early on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

We have truly loved spending each day with your children this school year and wish all of our Wiggin Street families a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer!

Team Tressel Summer Fitness Challenge

The Team Tressel Fitness Challenge is now available for the summer! This is a simple, fun way for families to stay active, build healthy habits, and spend meaningful time together during the summer break. Families can participate on their own schedule while working toward shared goals and by the end of the summer even win a medal! The challenge can be downloaded below.
