Fifty five Ski & Snowboarders also braved the cold this past weekend when they went to Crystal Ridge in Franklin, Wisconsin. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22nd, 3:00 pm, in room 206 and the next field trip will be to Little Switzerland on Saturday, February 1st. Calling all Leyden Dancers!

Are you a creative dancer who enjoys performing on stage? Auditions to join Orchesis for the IHSDF Student Choreography Competition will be on Tuesday, January 28th, at 3:30 pm, in the East Auditorium. Auditions are open to East and West students.

The TechgURLs are hosting their 12th Annual Women in Tech Panel on Wednesday, January 29th. This year it is being held at East, as it switches campuses each year.

Alumni and other local women in STEM-related careers come to network with our students, answer questions about their careers, and give career advice. It is followed by a networking lunch.

Girls State is a premier program sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary that focuses on developing leadership skills, citizenship knowledge, and patriotism among high school girls. Through this week-long, immersive experience, participants gain a deep understanding of the American government system by actively engaging in simulated local, county, and state governments.

Since its inception in 1937, Girls State has helped shape future generations of public servants, civic leaders, and engaged citizens.
