Hello Roosevelt Families,

As we have wrapped up the first quarter, I want to take a moment to celebrate the energy, growth, and community spirit that have filled our hallways since the first day of school. It has been a joy watching students settle into routines, stretch their thinking, take risks as learners, and strengthen their connections with one another and with our staff.

Across classrooms, students are diving deep into new learning—tackling rich literacy instruction, building strong numeracy foundations, and engaging in meaningful conversations that help them grow both academically and socially. Our teachers and support staff have been intentional about nurturing a sense of belonging for all students, and it’s been powerful to see students show up for each other, embrace challenges, and take pride in their progress.

This quarter we also hosted our 13th annual Veteran’s Day Luncheon, made possible by a generous anonymous donor. This luncheon is a meaningful tradition that gives our students the chance to honor those who have served. We are grateful for the opportunity to teach respect, gratitude, and civic responsibility in such an authentic way.

As we continue our school year, we look forward to continuing the work of building a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school community where every child feels known, valued, and challenged. Thank you for sharing your students with us each day—they are the heart of everything we do.

If you ever have questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warmly,

Mrs. Snyder-Chase

Roosevelt Principal
