We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the Michigan School Meals Program, EVERY child at Hemlock Public School District, pre-K through 12th grade, will now be able to enjoy a delicious and nutritious breakfast and lunch for FREE!

Not only will this amazing program lighten the load on your wallet (we all know kids can eat their way through a pantry), but it'll save you precious time in the morning.

Now, here's the nitty-gritty: Although the meals are free, we do need all our parents to fill out the new free/reduced lunch application. This data is super important as it helps secure state and federal funding for this fantastic initiative.

Here's to full bellies, vibrant minds, and the #huskietastic school year ahead!

🛠️ Meet Minion Bob, Our Scarecrow! 🍌 The Hemlock Business Association’s Scarecrow Contest just got a little more... despicable! 😎 Say hello to Bob, the most mischievous scarecrow you’ll ever meet! Dressed in his signature overalls and goggles, he’s here to steal the show (and maybe a few bananas too). 🍌👀 Come visit Bob at K.C. Ling Elementary School, before he heads to Richland Township Park during Hemlock Sawdust Days, and snap a selfie! Let’s see if he can win the top spot in this year’s contest. Make sure to vote for him and support all the amazing creations from our local businesses! 🏆 📅 Cast your votes and help Bob bring home the golden banana! 🍌✨
