We are entering the season of giving which means our toy drive will kick off as a "Game On! House Challenge" between the Resilient Rangers, Motivated Mavericks, Stellar Stars, and Courageous Cowboys! Each toy equals 5 points for the house and it will be tallied up each week to see who is in the lead!
This year GPISD is helping "Santa's Helpers" in place of Toys for Tots. The difference is that ALL of our donations go directly to our students in the Grand Prairie Community! Isn't that great? I'm so excited to see how much we can help out one another during this season of giving and love.
Kick-off is Monday, November 4th , and the last day to bring an unwrapped toy is Monday, December 2nd. Remember, all of your donations go towards awards and fun activities for the students at Garcia, and the toys go right back to the kids of Grand Prairie!
This toy drive will have an event similar to the one last year, but with Pete Delkus and the Channel 8 News crew. You will receive that information from GPISD Communications.
