A note from Mrs. Hagerich

Dear Kinsner Families -

As cliche as this may sound - “Thanks for the Memories”.....

The journey has been eventful, fun, interesting, and exciting…

But now it’s time to go!

I have worked for the Strongsville City Schools since June 1987. I spent time teaching at the High School, Muraski, Drake and now Kinsner, since the opening in 1998.

On the last day of school, Friday, May 26th, I am retiring from my teaching career. I wanted to take this opportunity to say, “Thank you” for all the support and kindness shown to me over the years. I will truly miss Kinsner and the people I have worked so closely with through the various educational programs. It’s been a wonderful 36 years; Thank you!

Take care - stay active - and enjoy life to its fullest! Mrs. “H” (Hagerich

Summer Learning Opprotunities!

According to Scholastic, students lose nearly "20% of their school-year gains in reading" and elementary-aged students are the most at risk because they are at a pivotal point in their reading development. However, there are easy things you can do over the summer to help keep your child's skills sharp and decrease the likelihood of a "summer slide!"

  • Have your child read what they want.
  • Make time for smart play, including puzzles.
  • Get out of the house. (You could visit the library, zoo, park, etc.)
  • Promote imagination use by your child.
  • Encourage your child to complete Lexia Summer Reading Bingo Boards.
