October 2024 Newsletter

Dear Pioneer Families,

We hope this newsletter finds you well and you are excited for an exciting October in the School District of Westfield!

A few things to look forward to include:

1. Homecoming Week: October kicks off with our Homecoming Week. It's a time to show off our Pioneer Pride, welcome alumni, and celebrate school spirit. Students will enjoy dress-up days, friendly competitions, a parade on Friday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m., and a football game at 7:00 p.m. The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday. Check out the HS/MS link for more details.

2. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Don't miss our parent-teacher conferences on October 14th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It's a chance to connect with teachers, discuss your child's progress, and collaborate for their success.

3. Red Ribbon Week: From October 23rd to 31st, our elementary students will observe Red Ribbon Week, promoting a drug-free and healthy lifestyle with activities and educational programs.

4. Community Trick-or-Treat Event: Join us on October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at N7046 County M for a fun Halloween event, featuring candy, costumes, skits, and community bonding, hosted by our Student Council.

5. A Note From The Nurse : Check out the link below for updates from our Nurse. Included you will find information on vaccine clinics, immunization paperwork, vision screenings and more.

6. Mark Your Calendars: Join us on Monday, October 21st, or Wednesday, October 23rd for our Open House and get your questions about the November 5th referendum.

7. Mark Your Calendars: In November, our Westfield Area High School will proudly present Beauty and the Beast!!
