District 103

Dear Parent or Guardian,

District 103 is beginning to develop a new Strategic Plan that will guide our work over the next 7-10 years. We value student voice and invite students in Grades 4-8 to share their thoughts about the strengths of our district, the opportunities ahead, and the priorities that will best prepare our students for the future. We will survey students in early September.

If you do NOT want your child to participate, please fill out the D103 Strategic Planning Survey Student Opt Out Form by 3:30 p.m Tuesday, September 1.

This form should only be filled out if you do NOT want your student taking the Strategic Planning Survey. If you wish to opt out, please fill out the opt our form. If you DO want to allow your student to take the Strategic Planning Survey, please disregard the opt out form.

We also invite our families to complete the Strategic Planning Survey and share your thoughts about our district, our students, and what you believe will be important for District 103 in the years ahead.

At the end of the survey, parents will also have the opportunity to indicate your interest in serving on the Strategic Planning Committee. The committee will meet from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on September 14, September 29, and October 27. Committee members will help engage in deeper conversations about our district’s future and work together to identify strategic priorities.
