Weekly Update

Please help your child remember to charge their iPad every night, and make sure they grab it for school every morning. This is an important tool that they need to have at school daily, students started getting iPad write-ups this week for any iPads not charged to at least 50%, not bringing their iPad to school and not turning it in to Ms. Savanna at the end of the day if they leave their iPad at school.

TeamMates Kick-Off!

Students in 5th and 6th grade were given this flyer today to show their families. For more information, you can visit www.teammates.org, or scan the QR code on the flyer.

Boys Basketball- Boys will travel to Royal Valley on Monday for basketball. Games start at 4:30, 7th grade will play at the elementary school in Hoyt and 8th grade will play at the Middle School in Mayetta, as always A teams play first and then B teams.

Thursday the boys will go to Sabetha for basketball. 7th Grade will play at Sabetha High School in the Secondary gym, 8th Grade will play at Sabetha Middle School. A teams followed by B teams.

eSports- Below is a link to order fan wear for eSports it closes on Jan. 17

Knowledge Bowl- Practice is at 6:30 am on Tuesday and Thursday this week.

If your child is in art this semester they will need to make sure the fee gets paid. Even if they were in art 1st semester there is another fee for 2nd semester.

Cost for Breakfast is $2.10- we start serving breakfast at 7:30 am

Lunch cost is $3.25- We are offering a hot meal, a sandwich and a salad option please make sure you let your child know what is on the lunch menu so they know what they would like when their teacher takes lunch count.

Please note some changes to the calendar-

Tuesday January 23 will be the make-up boys basketball game in Holton

March 7th will be the Band and Vocal Concert at the Middle School at 7pm- it will not be on February 29th as there was a schedule conflict.

March 19th will be the Freshman Pre-Enrollment meeting at the High School at 7pm, this meeting is for ALL 8th graders and their parents. This is a change from the calendar as it was originally scheduled for March 4th.

Thursday- Boys basketball at Sabetha
