Make sure you sign up for parent/ teacher conferences. They will happen October 31 from 8:30-4:00 pm. There will be no school but child care will be provided while you are in your parent/teacher meeting.

This year we are again using the online site Sign-Up Genius to help make it easy for you to sign up. Look for it in your email next week. Sign ups will be on a first come, first served basis.

October 16 will be school picture retakes. Let your child’s teacher know if your child was absent or you just want to have retakes for your child. Information will be coming home this week. This will be on a Wednesday and we ask that your child wear their chapel uniform for retakes.

At the end of our Week of Worship today we unveiled our John 5:39 Names of Jesus Memory Challenge. The goal is to memorize the name of God used in each of the books of the Bible. Because it is a big challenge we have broken it into three parts to help make working toward this challenge doable. This challenge is open to any KAES student in any grade. Check out the video below as Pastor Travis and Mr. Coulter share how the challenge works.

If you are looking for additional tutoring for our child Mrs. Reyna is offering tutoring for all ages and subject areas. Mrs. Reyna taught with us last year for about 1/3 of the year when we need help in the 3rd grade classroom. I unconditionally recommend her and her ability to help your child.
