As we start a new year, remember attendance matters! Please remember to schedule appointments on days off if possible and encourage our students to be at school every day! We are learning something new everyday in Mustang Country!
Due to our double-blocked classes, the number of hours could be greater for our campus. Don't forget about our daily tutorials, which are open to all students from 7:50-8:20. Students who have perfect attendance for the week also receive points in LiveSchool for our campus economy. These can be redeemed at the school store every three weeks. In the Classroom

Health Class: Opt-In Information
As part of our science and health curriculum, the ESTEEM curriculum will teach 6th and 7th grade students about the human reproductive system, abstinence, and human sexuality. Parents can preview the materials for these units at https://esteemjourney.com. A print copy of the curriculum is available at your child’s campus. Parents/Guardians may contact their school to schedule an appointment for viewing.
Parents must go to the Parent Self-Serve Portal at
https://frontline.tylerisd.org/selfserve/EntryPointHomeAction.do?parent=true
and complete the Health Opt-In Form.
Human sexuality education begins at home. You are your child’s primary educator and the most important influence on your child's health decisions. The ESTEEM lessons are designed to reinforce what you teach at home.
If you have questions about the ESTEEM curriculum, please email Hayley Skinner, Coordinator of Health and Physical Education at Hayley.Skinner@TylerISD.org.
