🔥 Blazing We Rise – Getting Back Into Our Rhythm!
🌟 Quote to Inspire Us
“Excellence is not an act, but a habit. We are what we repeatedly do.” – Aristotle
Dear Dealey Families & Communities,
As we step into this new week, let’s remember that success is like riding a bike—once we get going, the rhythm comes back, and the habits we build push us forward. At Dealey, we believe good habits breed more good habits. Every day is an opportunity to reset, recommit, and rise together.
đź“… Six Weeks Strong
We have now completed six weeks of school, an important milestone in the academic year. By this point, students are settling into routines, teachers are deep into instruction, and we begin to see the power of consistent habits. This is the time when small daily efforts turn into lasting growth.
🌱 Our Montessori Foundation
From PK4 to 8th grade, Montessori practices give our students the tools to develop independence, responsibility, and respect. Whether it’s learning how to care for the environment, practicing grace and courtesy, or developing strong study routines, Montessori provides the structure where habits grow into lifelong skills.
🌍 An International Academy Perspective
Our middle school is proud to be an International Academy, which means our students are not only rooted in strong academics but also encouraged to see themselves as global citizens. This mindset begins in our youngest learners—exploring cultures, building empathy, and learning how to collaborate across differences—and extends through middle school, where students apply these habits in advanced studies, world languages, and leadership.
đź’™ Thank You for Your Support!
A heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and community members who contributed to North Texas Giving Day. Together, our Dealey community raised an incredible $40,085—surpassing our $40,000 goal!!! Because of your generosity, we can continue to provide rich learning experiences that make Dealey exceptional.
🎯 Goal Met = Dunking Booth Fun!
Since we met our goal, I, Principal Garrett, will spend some time in the dunking booth as promised! Mark your calendars—the dunking booth will take place during our PTA Fall Festival on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Get ready to have some fun as we celebrate this achievement together. Thank you for believing in our vision and for making this possible!
📊 iReady Reports
Your child’s iReady report was distributed to teachers last week and will be coming home with students by Thursday, September 25, 2025. These reports provide valuable insight into your child’s progress and growth so far this year. At Dealey, we believe that keeping families informed and engaged is an essential habit that strengthens each student’s educational journey.
✨ Blazing We Rise at Dealey
When our Dragons form positive routines, respect their environment, and embrace learning with curiosity, they embody our vision: Where Dragons Thrive, Blazing We Rise! Each student’s growth, from PK4 through 8th grade, contributes to a community where responsibility, resilience, and global perspective are everyday habits.
Let’s celebrate these first six weeks of success, honor the generosity of our supporters, and keep building good habits together—it’s how we ride forward into greatness!
With pride,
Love❤️ Principal Amber Garrett
