Major's Minute

We went out to celebrate Celestine's coming home. It took us a while to get to the restaurant. It also took a lot of determination and small steps for Celestine to get into the restaurant. We had a great meal. Packed up with leftovers, we loaded up in our car to go home. So blessed to finally be out of the hospital and awake enough to get out of the house, we were ready to go home and rest.

That feeling of excitement quickly turned into fear and shock as I ended up driving the wrong way down a one way street. Not even realizing I did this until I saw a car coming towards me in the same lane and anther car honking as it passed us by. I turned around right away and pulled into the first place I could find off the road to catch my breath.

It is true, you never know what a day can hold. Again, brings me to think of how life is precious and what we do with our minutes is important. Lord help us to live lives with purpose and meaning for Him and for his glory. Give us strength and wisdom Lord, passion for You and Your Word, and the desire as for this.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength; and, "Love your neighbor as yourself'". Mark 12:30-31

All weekly programs will resume this week.

Pray our Young Adult Retreat delegates to get home safely.

Pray for Roxann as she attends the Territorial Youth Leaders Conference this week.

Remember to sign up your youth for the Youth Rally Day ASAP.
