As you venture into summer, don't forget that your child needs to continue reading and practicing their math skills. K-3 students were sent home with a backpack of goodies to help with this over the summer. Please put these supplies to good use while traveling in the car or hanging at home.

Summer office hours will be posted below. If you are in need of anything over the summer, please email us at contactore@conroeisd.net. As a reminder, our front office staff as well as registrar are off for summer from June 3 - July 20. They will not be responding over their summer break so please be patient when emailing the school.

When will I receive my child's final report card?

It will be mailed out the week of June 1. We are using current address we have on file so if you have moved and not updated our system, it will go to your previous address or returned to the school. What happens if I don''t get my child's report card?

Call the school the week of June 8 or email us at contactore@conroeisd.net.

If my child's report card gets returned to the school via US Mail, will I have to provide an updated proof of residency?

Yes

Do I need to register my child for the 26-27 school year if they currenly attend ORE?

No, they automatically roll over to the next grade.

What if we are moving over the summer and will be attending another school for the 26-27 school year?

Send an email to contactore@conroeisd.net. Include the first and last name of your child(ren), what school they will be attending, and any updated contact information so we can reach out and confirm.

If I have neighbors with students who need to register, when can they register?

Registration is open online all summer. Unfortunately, our registrar is off from June 4 - July 20. We will be checking registrations periodcially throughout the summer, but most likely, they won't hear from anyone until after July 20.

When we will receive information about the new school year?

A newsletter will be sent twice during the summer, once at the first of July and another one the week of July 27.

When will we receive information about my child's teacher for the 26-27 school year?

An email or phone call will come on Friday, August 7. We will use contact information in our system so please make sure it is up to date.

When is Meet the Teacher?

• Thursday August, 6 from 5:00-6:30pm -PK - K - Teddy Bear Tea
• Monday, August, 10 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. 1st - 4th graders

Help us with communication by emailing us at contactore@conroeisd.net. This includes changes of transportation, sick notes, or any other communication you have with our school. We monitor this email address frequently throughout the day and will ensure to see it. If you email directly to the teacher, we cannot guarantee that it will be seen as the teacher might be absent.

June 3 - Last day for front office and registrar to work

July 20 - Front office and registrar return to work

July 30 - Popsicles with Principals at ORHS from 4-6

August 1 - District Registration day
