Lakeville South DECA had an outstanding showing at the 2025 DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), the premier event for emerging business leaders and entrepreneurs. Held with over 26,000 high school students from around the world in attendance, ICDC represents the highest level of competition in DECA.

We are proud to share that four of our students represented Lakeville South with excellence—and three advanced as finalists!

• Bryce Edwards and Evan Hilliard earned a spot among the top 20 finalists in the School-Based Enterprise – Retail Operations category, representing our school store, Cougar Cove.
• Alice Yi took top honors in the Marketing Communications Series, earning First Place—a remarkable achievement on the international stage.

Congratulations to all of our DECA competitors for their hard work, professionalism, and Cougar pride!

The MN Vikings and the Minnesota State High School League have launched Minnesota’s first-ever statewide Girls Flag Football league — and Lakeville South is proud to be part of it!

With 51 high school teams across the state, our own Lakeville South Cougars have hit the ground running. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams played their first doubleheaders last Sunday against the Fairmont Cardinals and the Lakeville North Panthers — and won every game!

We’re thrilled to share the team roster and full schedule so you can come cheer on these incredible athletes as they build a new Cougar legacy.

🏈 Games are every Sunday at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Let’s show up, be loud, and support our girls as they make history. #Sisterhood #GoCougars Give us a follow on Instagram! LSHS Girls Flag Football.
