Thank you for a great school year! Have a wonderful summer!
Dear Peacock Families,
As I reflect on the past 12 years with Itasca District 10, I am filled with immense gratitude. It has been the greatest honor to serve the Itasca community and to partner with you—our incredible parents and students. The connections we’ve made, the milestones we’ve reached, and the journey we’ve shared have meant so much to me and will stay with me always.
As I prepare for the next chapter, I am confident Peacock Middle School will continue to thrive. Beginning this summer, Principal Jason Taylor will be stepping into the role of Peacock Principal. He brings experience, passion, and a deep commitment to student success. I know he will be a wonderful leader for our school.
Thank you for the trust, support, and partnership over the years. I will always hold the District 10 and Peacock community close and wish you all the very best in the years ahead.
Have a wonderful summer!
With heartfelt appreciation,
Brooke Krey, Principal
Message from Mrs. Faut, Assistant Principal
As the school year comes to an end, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible District 10 community. It has been a pleasure working as the Assistant Principal at Peacock Middle school, alongside such dedicated staff, supportive families, and, most importantly, our amazing students.
This year, our students have shown tremendous growth and achievement.. Whether in academics, the arts, athletics, or leadership roles, they rose to every challenge and made us proud. From classroom milestones to school-wide events, they’ve consistently demonstrated what it means to be hardworking, kind, and determined. Their progress is a true reflection of the strong partnership between school, home, and community, and I could not be more proud to have been part of their journey.
Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Sam Mileto as the next Assistant Principal for Peacock Middle School. She is a talented and passionate leader who will make a long lasting positive impact on students. I am excited to see all the great things ahead for Peacock Middle School and District 10. Thank you all for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community.
