Mayfair Middle/High School will hold its Fall Semester 2025 final exams from December 15–19, with a modified schedule each day to support students as they complete their end-of-semester assessments. Throughout the week, students will follow specific exam blocks for designated periods, with snack breaks built in to help them recharge. Middle school and high school lunch times are clearly outlined, and each day focuses on a small number of classes to give students the time they need to perform at their best. Families are also encouraged to help students prepare by checking Aeries for current grades, ensuring all assignments are submitted, and supporting students as they study for their exams. Mayfair wishes all students a successful finish to the semester and a wonderful holiday season ahead!

Thank you for supporting our student-athletes! To ensure a positive and respectful environment at all athletic events, we ask that all spectators follow our Spectator Code of Conduct. Please positively support all athletes, respect officials, coaches, and players, and demonstrate good sportsmanship and self-control. We encourage everyone to keep language clean and family-friendly, show school spirit without noisemakers or music, and acknowledge the hard work of both teams. Let’s focus on encouragement rather than criticism. Spectators who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave the event. Together, we can create a welcoming atmosphere for our students and families.

“Traveling for the Break?” lunch event (11/13+11/20) “Traveling for the Break?” lunch event (11/13+11/20)

During both Middle School and High School lunches, the Community Schools team hosted a “Traveling During the Break?” event designed to engage students, build connections and promote wellness before the Holiday break.

This activity brought together several Mayfair community partners, including the Mayfair Library, Caring Connections, and the Career Center, to create an interactive and welcoming experience for all students.

(Shoutout to Mr. Evans, Mrs. Edna and Ms. Saucedo!)

The goal was to remind students that they can advocate for their own success by staying connected to resources that support their academics, mental health and overall wellbeing.

Students received care packages (hygiene kits), goodies, and participated in a scavenger-hunt style “Passport” (and won Minga points) that encouraged students to explore different learning spaces of the Mayfair campus, learn about available supports, and learned the importance to practice self-care

Go Monsoons and don't forget to disconnect, rest and recharge this Holiday!

Reminders Reminders

Listed below are just a few important reminders (PLEASE READ):

  1. Mayfair Middle/High School does not permit any drop-offs or deliveries of food or other items. Please ensure that your student is prepared for the day when coming to school in the morning with their lunch, supplies, money, etc.
  2. Dress Code. For the 2025-2026 school year, we are trying to prepare our students for college and career ready with a dress code. Students will not be allowed to wear any inappropriate clothing which includes the following: No sheer, low cut, revealing blouses, bare midriff, or braless outfits, bathing suits, beach attire, tight or revealing, or strapless garments. Please be sure that your student follows the dress code and wears appropriate clothing and accessories. Also, students may not bring blankets to campus. Click here to access Mayfair's Dress Code Policy.
  3. No returning back to campus. If a student has an early release (7th or 8th period), once the student leaves campus, they may not return to campus during school hours. Parents - please ensure that your students are going home early if they have the early release. Note: Students who have a "home" period, must leave campus by the end of lunch, and are not allowed to remain unsupervised. Please review your students schedule so that you are aware when they will be leaving campus early (prior to 3:35).

School Policies School Policies

Bikes/skateboards/ scooters

Students will not be allowed to have bikes, scooters or skateboards on campus. There are designated lock areas on the north and south ends of campus for students to securely store them during the school day. Riding and even walking them through campus presents a safety concern. Students are expected to pick up their belongings at the designated areas, and exit campus. Students are also required to walk their Bike, scooter or skateboard until they are completely off campus, which includes walkways and parking lots. Our goal is to insure safety for all students, we appreciate your support in upholding these expectations at home.

Students must complete their detention to be removed from the no-go Minga list and regain the ability to attend special school events, which are considered privileges. Failure to serve a lunch detention will result in additional consequences.

Wellness Center Wellness Center

Mayfair Middle/High School’s Wellness Center is available for students who need a short break to recharge during the day. Students must first check into class at the start of the period and then have a pass or Minga pass from a teacher or counselor to visit. Wellness breaks are limited to 10–15 minutes, and cell phones must be put away while in the center. Please remember that all health-related issues should be directed to the Health Office. Mayfair Middle/High School students will utilize the app called Minga as a digital ID card. The app enables staff to create hall passes, reward students for doing well and helping others, and the digital ID card will help students have an easier time entering or leaving campus. The digital ID has a "live" interface, with a running digital clock and a moving background, thus preventing students from using a screenshot [Screenshots of ID are not permitted]. Students will utilize their school email (via Google) to log in. The app is safe to use, uses very little data, and doesn't require access to any of the information stored on your phone. If your child does not have a smartphone, don't worry - they will receive a printed ID card as well. Click here to access a quick document that shows you how to log into your school's Minga account.
