The Weekly Update #4

Greetings Park Families,

We are coming to the close of the Marking period. This Friday March 28th, is the final day of the third marking period. Please make sure that your child has completed and submitted all of their school work for the marking period. There are a lot of activities planned as we move towards the end of the school year. Things have moved very quickly this year and we will be soon approaching spring break. When we return from spring break we will be completing our testing season. Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the Smarter Balanced State Test. Our younger students will be participating in the spring I-Ready and Acadience spring test. We look forward to seeing plenty of growth for our students this school year. Let's make sure that we finish the school year off strong.

Se acerca el fin del período de calificaciones. Este viernes 28 de marzo es el último día del tercer período de calificaciones. Por favor, asegúrense de que su hijo/a haya completado y entregado todas sus tareas escolares para el período de calificaciones. Hay muchas actividades planeadas a medida que nos acercamos al final del año escolar. El ritmo ha sido muy rápido este año y pronto nos acercaremos a las vacaciones de primavera. Al regresar de las vacaciones de primavera, finalizará la temporada de exámenes. Los estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado presentarán el examen estatal Smarter Balanced. Nuestros estudiantes más pequeños participarán en el examen de primavera I-Ready y el de primavera Acadience. Esperamos ver un gran crecimiento en nuestros estudiantes este año escolar. Asegurémonos de terminar el año escolar con éxito.

Hello all! Here is your place for all info March Madness!

This week will be the first week of our March Madness Class Compliment Tournament!

Classes will compete against each other each week to get the most class compliments: from specials, hallway, cafeteria! We will count total compliments at the end of the day each Friday to see how many compliments each class received that week, so keep track! Winning classes will move onto the next week!

The winning class will get a special meet and greet with the Delaware Blue Coats on the 28th! 😊

Check out the bracket posted by the cafeteria to see who you are up against in Week 1!

Raffle Opportunities:

VIP section in both shows. Students can begin to enter into the raffle starting next week until March 27.

The class(es) with the best attendance for March will also be entered into a raffle to win a special meet and greet with the Delaware Blue Coats on the 28th.

¡Hola a todos! ¡Este es el lugar donde encontrar toda la información sobre March Madness!

¡Esta semana será la primera semana de nuestro torneo de felicitaciones de clases de March Madness!

¡Las clases competirán entre sí cada semana para obtener la mayor cantidad de felicitaciones de clase: de las clases especiales, del pasillo y de la cafetería! Contaremos la cantidad total de felicitaciones al final del día cada viernes para ver cuántas felicitaciones recibió cada clase esa semana, ¡así que no dejes de llevar la cuenta! ¡Las clases ganadoras pasarán a la semana siguiente!

¡La clase ganadora tendrá un encuentro especial con los Delaware Blue Coats el día 28! 😊

Eagle Club After School Program

Due to a limited budget, our after school Program will take place over 13 sessions. Please see the information below:

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are excited to announce the return of the Eagle Club After-School Program! This program provides students with enriching academic support and engaging social activities in a structured and supportive environment.

Program Details:
Start Date: Thursday, April 3, 2025
End Date: Thursday, May 22, 2025
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays (excluding spring break week)
Time: 4:15 PM – 6:15 PM
Transportation: Limited bus transportation is available

What to Expect:
One hour of academic instruction to support student learning
One hour of social enrichment activities to encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth
Supervised, structured environment led by experienced staff

If you would like your child to participate in the Eagle Club After-School Program, please complete the attached registration form and return it by March 27, 2025. Space may be limited, so early registration is encouraged. Paper applications have been given out to students to bring home. The deadline for paper applications is also March 27, 2025

Una hora de instrucción académica para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes

Una hora de actividades de enriquecimiento social para fomentar la creatividad, el trabajo en equipo y el crecimiento personal

Entorno supervisado y estructurado, dirigido por personal experimentado.

Si desea que su hijo/a participe en el Programa Extraescolar Eagle Club, complete el formulario de inscripción adjunto y devuélvalo antes del 27 de marzo de 2025. El cupo puede ser limitado, por lo que se recomienda inscribirse con anticipación. Se han entregado solicitudes impresas a los estudiantes para que las lleven a casa. La fecha límite para las solicitudes en papel también es el 27 de marzo de 2025.

Attendance

Please make sure students are coming to school on a regular basis. If they are sick, please keep them home. If they are running a fever they have to stay out of school for one day. When they are absent, please make sure to send a not to excuse their absences.

Asistencia

Asegúrese de que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela con regularidad. Si están enfermos, manténgalos en casa. Si tienen fiebre, deben faltar a la escuela durante un día. Cuando estén ausentes, asegúrese de enviar una nota para justificar su ausencia.

Car Lines

Please adhere to the rules of the car lines for arrival and dismissal. Also, do not double park in the from of the school. It creates a traffic back up.
