Parent/Student Code of Conduct
The Tuscaloosa City Schools Code of Conduct Signature Forms were sent home with students today. Please review the document with your child, sign the form, and return it to school by 8/13/25.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this important requirement.
21st Century
21st Century After School Program begins on Monday, August 11th. If you received a call from Ms. Strode informing you that your child was accepted and you attended orientation, your child may begin on Monday. If you applied to the 21st Century Program and did not receive a call or you have not attended orientation, your child may not stay.
Arrival and Dismissal
As we transition into the first full week of school, we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the following:
- To ensure your child's safety, they must be registered as a walker to leave the premises with our walkers at 2:38 PM.
- Car riders will be dismissed at 2:45 PM and must be picked up in the designated car line. Please refrain from parking in the side parking lot, as this may cause confusion.
-The 21st Century program will commence on Monday, August 11, and all accepted students have been notified via phone call by our directors.
- We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for offensive language on school premises.
From TCS Transportation:
Parents of bus riders: please be patient with us as our buses may be late to pick up or drop off as they routes are finalized and there is increased back to school traffic for the next week. We are striving to pick up all the students who need transportation on time.
Reminder: Please download the Stopfinder app for bus communications this year and to even track your child's bus live.
IMPORTANT: If you have not yet registered for bus transportation, you must contact your child’s school or call the TCS Transportation Dept. at 205-247-2400 to register ASAP.
