Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are right around the corner! They will be held on Thursday, November 7 from 1:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. This day will be a half day for students, with release at 11:26am.
To sign up for conferences:
- This is the preferred method - Email ptc@leepublicschools.net and include your name, your student(s) name(s) and which teachers you would like to meet with. Include your preference of the afternoon slots (1:00-4:00) or evening slots (6:00-8:00). Within a couple days of your email, you'll receive a reply with the appointments for your conferences.
- Call Jenifer LePrevost at 413-243-2780 x2001 and leave a message with the above information. Include your phone number so that she can return your call once appointments have been booked.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at these conferences!

Food Allergies
Just a reminder that we have several students in the building with severe peanut allergies -- some who can get a reaction from airborne exposure! We ask all families to refrain from bringing or sending peanut-containing products into LMHS, or to any LMHS events (including bus rides). We want to ensure the safety of health of all of our students!
If your student realizes too late that they have brought a peanut product to school, we are happy to exchange that in the main office for a different snack. We have various options available, usually including fresh fruit.
Thanks for your cooperation in this important matter!
Next Interim Grade Report: Friday, Nov. 1
We hope that you have been finding the weekly "grade and attendance updates" helpful. On Friday, November 1 our next Interim Grade Report will be issued after 3:00pm. This grade report is especially important for those who participate in co-curricular activities (such as drama and athletics). Continued participation in current activities (fall sports, Shakespeare, etc.) will be determined by this grade report; also, initial eligibility for winter activities (winter sports, bowling, etc.) will be determined.
The rules are different for middle school and high school:
- Middle school students must be passing ALL courses on their interim grade report to participate in co-curricular activities;
- High school students must be passing AT LEAST 5 courses on their interim grade report to participate in co-curricular activities.
Remember, you can check up-to-date information about your student's progress by logging into Focus. If you need help with your Focus account, email focus@leepublicschools.net.
