Model Mustang Experience
Strongsville City Schools recently hosted a vibrant Model Mustang Experience that drew an impressive crowd of visitors eager to discover the innovative learning happening in our classrooms every day. The event beautifully highlighted the diverse, engaging programs our dedicated educators have developed to inspire curiosity and foster deep learning across all grade levels.
Guests were invited on a journey through dynamic, hands-on experiences that brought learning to life. Emily Stross's 3rd-grade students captivated visitors with an interactive exploration of the human body, making anatomy tangible and unforgettable. Meanwhile, Nicole Bender's 1st graders and Susie Baraga transported attendees through time and space, showcasing compelling units on archeology and space exploration that sparked wonder and imagination.
The experience extended beyond traditional classrooms, with Emily Gundert's 2nd graders demonstrating the power of voice through an engaging podcasting experience, giving students a platform to share their ideas and creativity. Emily Weir's PE program energized visitors with an inspiring jump rope unit display, celebrating student achievement and physical wellness. Meanwhile, Shannon Hoffmann and Julia Madal's Art classes showcased stunning student artwork that reflected creativity, skill development, and artistic vision.
Behind many of these exceptional experiences at Kinsner stands our talented Literacy Coach, Steve Owens, who works collaboratively with our teachers to transform creative visions into engaging, literacy-rich learning experiences.
To round out the experience, Rachel Dlouhy, our Reading Specialist, made sensory resources available throughout the event, with additional interactive materials featured in our dedicated sensory room, underscoring our commitment to meeting every learner's needs.
This exceptional turnout demonstrated the power of collaborative, student-centered education and left visitors inspired by the wonderful things happening at Strongsville City Schools!

The 5th grade Orchestra sounded awesome and our 8th grade Orchestra loved performing for them. Congratulations Orchestra!
