Looking Ahead ...
Campus Attendance and Sick Days
We get it—a sick day throws a wrench in everyone's plans, and rearranging your morning on short notice is tough.
When your child isn’t feeling well, keeping them home makes a world of difference:
Faster Healing: Rest is the best medicine to help their little bodies recover quickly.
Community Care: It stops illnesses in their tracks so they don't spread to friends and staff.
Making Up Missed Assignments: Please see the graphic for the policies at each campus for making up missed assignments.
Thank you for making the tough call to keep them home when they’re unwell. Your extra effort keeps our entire community safe!

COMMUNITY SERVICE INFORMATION
75 Hours of Community is a Graduation Requirement
Community Service Hours – An Important Graduation Requirement
Mountainburg High School students and parents, we want to remind everyone of an important graduation requirement!
Beginning with the Class of 2027, students are required to complete 75 hours of community service in order to graduate, as established by the Arkansas LEARNS Act of 2023.
At Mountainburg High School, we are committed to helping our students succeed! We work to provide as many community service opportunities as possible throughout the school year. However, the ultimate responsibility for obtaining, completing, and logging these hours belongs to the student, with the support and encouragement of their parents or guardians.
Students must log their completed hours in MobileServe. Simply participating in a service activity is not enough—the hours must also be properly documented.
We especially want to encourage our seniors in the Class of 2027 to take this requirement seriously. Graduation in May will be here before we know it, and we do not want community service hours to become an obstacle to receiving a diploma. Now is the time to check your hours, make a plan, and take advantage of opportunities to serve!
Parents, we encourage you to have regular conversations with your student about their progress toward completing this requirement. Please do not assume that your student has completed the required hours or that the school is keeping up with logging them.
Working together, we can help ensure that every student stays on track for graduation. Community service is about much more than meeting a graduation requirement. It is an opportunity for students to develop responsibility, build character, and make a positive difference in their school and community.
We appreciate the support of our Dragon families as we work together to prepare our students for success! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cristee, Mrs. Christian, or Coach Paige Jones.
75 HOURS. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. STAY ON TRACK FOR GRADUATION!
