Dear Dealey Families,
I hope you all enjoyed today’s Labor Day holiday and had an opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with the people you love.
As I reflected on Labor Day, I thought about the phrase “a labor of love.” It describes work that requires time, patience, sacrifice, and tremendous effort—but we willingly do it because the outcome and the people we serve are worth it.
That is education. And that is Dealey. 💙
Every day, our teachers and staff pour their time, talents, creativity, and hearts into our students. Our families make sacrifices, volunteer, support classrooms, attend events, reinforce learning at home, and partner with us. And our students come to school each day ready to explore, discover, make mistakes, try again, and grow.
None of this happens by accident.
The excellence we experience at George Bannerman Dealey Montessori and International Academy is truly a labor of love—built through thousands of small actions performed consistently by people who deeply care about children.
As principal, I am incredibly grateful for the collective work of our entire Dealey community. Thank you for believing in our students, supporting our school, and continuing to help us create an environment where children can become compassionate leaders, creative problem-solvers, and globally minded citizens.
