Attendance Challenge
October Update- November Challenge
October's attendance challenge was by grade level! Stay tuned to see what grades earned extra recess by meeting their goal of 96%.
November's challenge is to reach 96% again, but this time its the goal for the whole school! The reward is music at RECESS time!
Remember: October is the start of cold and flu season- students are more than welcome to be at school as long as they are fever/diarrhea/vomiting free for 24 hours without medicine!
PBIS Update: Schoolwide Goals in Action!
Our students are working hard to show positive behavior and earn some exciting schoolwide rewards! Here is what we are focusing on:
Lunchtime Music Challenge Students are working together to spell out "ARCOLA" in the cafeteria! They earn a new letter each time the whole school completes a full day with zero hands/feet-to-self office referrals. Once all seven letters are earned, students will unlock music during lunch!
Cozy Winter Celebration Winter Party Goal We are aiming for a great quarter at recess! If we keep our weekly recess office referrals to five or fewer for at least 70% of the quarter (six weeks total), the entire school will celebrate with a Hot Cocoa & Cozy Afternoon Party in January!
Current Progress: Weโve already hit our target for 2 weeksโjust 4 more weeks to go!
Next Steps: Students will be reviewing recess expectations during SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) over the next couple of weeks to help us reach our goal.
Thank you for encouraging these positive behaviors at home, too. Let's go, Arcola!
