Last weekend the Mock Trial team won 2 trials over a 7 hour span on Saturday to advance to the Western New York Finals to compete against Nichols for a chance to go to the Regional competition.

This picture was taken in the elevator of the Erie County Courthouse which has been a tradition for this team after a win for the past 25 years!! Way to go OPHS!!!

Orchard Park High School would like to recognize and honor the work of Mr. Charles Messina for his time and dedication to the Mock Trial Program the last four years. Mr. Messina, an Orchard Park resident, spends about 8-10 hours a week of his own time from 5:00-9:00pm practicing with the Mock Trial Team at OPHS from November through April. This hard work and dedication has helped OPHS reach the finals twice and the semi-finals twice in the past four years. Mr. Messina does this not only because of his passion for the law but also his for teaching the law.

Orchard Park thanks you for your time, talents, and expertise!
