BULLDOG BULLETIN
October 25, 2026
Happy Sunday Bulldogs!
Congratulations to our cheer team for winning first place at the Conference Championship held on Saturday. This is the second year in a row that they were able to take home the Conference trophy! Congratulations also goes out to our amazing Marching Bulldogs. These students took 2nd place in the preliminaries and finals at the Corinth Holders band competition on Saturday. Our band was up against some tough competition, however they finished strong, performing the best they have ever done! We are so proud of our marching band!
Our Trunk or Treat event was a huge success, and we have a few more Halloween festivities this week. Our S2S group will be selling Boo Grams this week through Thursday during lunch. Be sure to swing by their table and purchase your Boo Grams.
We are currently providing an incentive for students that are present at school each day from 10/19- 11/19. Students without any absences during this time will get to participate in a special DRIVE time to include a treat and cell phone privileges. Let's see just how many Bulldogs can rise to this attendance challenge!

What is DRIVE Time at Dixon High School?
At Dixon High School, DRIVE Time is a dedicated intervention and enrichment block built into the school day from 10:03–10:33 a.m. This time is designed to provide students with additional opportunities for academic support, enrichment, and involvement based on their individual needs and interests.
Every other Monday is reserved for homeroom. On other DRIVE days, students use Flex to sign up for available sessions.
Academics are our top priority. Students who are struggling in a class, have missing assignments, or need additional help should select a DRIVE session with the appropriate teacher or content area. Teachers may also require students to attend a specific DRIVE session when additional academic support is needed.
Students who are performing well in all of their classes may choose from a variety of enrichment activities and club offerings.
When students use DRIVE Time intentionally, we believe it can make a meaningful difference in their individual academic growth and success. Parents, we ask for your support by encouraging your student to take advantage of this small-group learning opportunity, especially when extra help is needed.
Note: Students that do not take the time to register themselves, will be auto assigned to available session. Students that are on campus during this time, must report to the DRIVE session listed within Flex or they will receive consequences for skipping class.
