SASD e-Newsletter: November 2025

๐ Note from the Superintendent
As we move into the second quarter, I want to thank our students, families, and staff for the dedication you bring every day. The start of the school year has already been full of great moments that show just how strong and supportive our Sheboygan community is. Across the SASD, our classrooms are buzzing with curiosity, teamwork, and care, which are the things that make our schools such special places to learn. Thank you for your support and partnership as we continue working together to help every student succeed.
Dr. Jacob Konrath
Superintendent, Sheboygan Area School District

Referendum Update
Take a look at this month's Progress Update to see all the work completed on our middle school referendum projects over the past month. The October update includes preliminary renderings of the Urban Middle School cafeteria and choir room as well as Farnsworth's art room and library.
We added a preview of all the preliminary renderings shared so far to highlight the modern, collaborative learning spaces to our Referendum page. Take a look!
๐ฑ Text Messages from SASD
This school year, the SASD upgraded our school communication systems. As part of this transition, we have moved from short codes to 10-digit phone number for all SMS/Text messaging.
New SASD Text Message Number: (920) 315-2044
We recommend saving it in your contacts as โSASD Messagesโ so you always recognize messages from us. All schools and the district share the same texting phone number.
Please note: this number cannot receive phone calls or text responses. Please reach out to your child's school office if you have questions regarding a message. Thank you for staying connected with us!

2026-27 District Calendar + Virtual Learning Days
The 2026-27 district calendar is now available on the SASD website at www.sheboygan.k12.wi.us/calendar.
The first snow day of the school year will remain a traditional snow day with no school. This first snow day is built into our district calendar and does not need to be made up.
After that, any additional snow days will be Virtual Learning Days. On Virtual Learning Days, our school buildings will be closed, and students will learn remotely from home. Read the letter sent home to families earlier this week.
