- You have FULL control of your student purchases for breakfast and lunch through school cafe.
- Bring all lunches with your student each morning, we do not have staff to deliver lunches.
- If you have dismissal changes, please directly confirm that with your students' teacher, via email or ClassDojo prior to 2:30.

Tardies Begin on Monday
As a courtesy, for the first two weeks of school, we provided a grace period during which students arriving after 7:45 and were not marked tardy. That grace period ends this week. Beginning Monday, August 31, students must be in the building before 7:45 am to be counted on time.
Consistent, on-time arrival helps your student start the day ready to learn. Thank you for partnering with us for your student's success.
🚗 Car Rider Information 🚗
Car Rider is Ending Before 7:45!!!
Safety FIRST: Please DO NOT drop students off while on the street , stay in the car rider line and drop off at the curb. Unless it is after 7:45 & staff are not present to support students, DO NOT park. We do not have crossing guards, stopping traffic for students slows down the car rider line.
Is traffic or time still a concern? ALL STUDENTS that are in the VES attendance zone can request bus transportation. If you did not complete this portion at enrollment, please reach out to Bri Thompson @ briannthompson@celinaisd.com and she can help initiate that process.
VES Four Houses: Celina Core Principle
On Thursday, we had a full day of House Spinning during our Specials classes for new students be added to a House! We have 4 Houses, 1 Village. These are based on Celina ISD's Core Principles: Leadership, Innovation, Stewardship, Excellence and Community. EVERY Thursday (and Friday's of House celebrations) we encourage students to dress in their House shirts and colors.
Whether your family is on the go or you just want a fun and fast dinner, eat at Chick-fil-A on September 10th and 20% of the proceeds come straight to Vasquez Elementary!! Friday Dress Up Days are BACK!!!
Dressing up in fun theme days is a Celina Tradition in support of our CHS Football Team! Join in on the fun each Friday in Football season. There is no pressure, just fun!
Have your student wear their House Shirt!!
Our first House Party of the Year is coming up on September 4th! All NEW students will have a House Reveal during Specials and get their official House Shirt!
Afterschool Enrichment: Drama Kids!
Drama Kids is back at Vasquez on Tuesdays after school until 4:00pm. Scan the QR code above to register your student or call 214-592-4066 to inquire.
After School Enrichment: Robotics!
Each Thursday, from 3:00-4:15 PM, starting August 20 until May 20th, we have a partnership with Wize Computing, Robotics and Coding. This is a STEAM enrichment course offered to all K-4 students.
AlphaBEST After School Care
If you are unable to get your student by 3:05 and need a later pick up time, we have a partnership with AlphaBEST after school care. Scan the QR code for the enrollment information or visit alphabest.org/celinatx for pricing and scheduling.
