We're so excited to celebrate the end of the school year with our ABC countdown! Your child has put in so much effort learning their letters and sounds, and we can’t wait to see them show off all their hard work. We've planned some fun days to commemorate this year's achievements. Let’s make some wonderful memories together!

We are so excited to give our students the opportunity to visit Kindergarten. On May 19th, students will visit elementary campuses. If you would like your student to attend, they must have a signed permission form by Friday, May 16th.

The Academy After School Program is exploring the possibility of offering an engaging, activity-packed Summer Camp for kids entering Kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2025–2026 school year.

This camp is designed to keep kids active, learning, and having nonstop fun all summer long! Each week will feature exciting themes, hands-on activities, creative projects, and both onsite and offsite field trips that kids will love. Plus, it’s all in a safe, structured, and enriching environment you can feel great about.

Interested? We Need to Know!
To help us determine if there is enough interest to launch this program, please complete the Summer Camp Interest Form** by Wednesday, May 14**. A minimum number of students is required for the camp to move forward. Please complete a separate interest form for each child you wish to attend camp.

REMINDER: Parent Surveys will close at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 11. If you have not already completed the survey, please take a moment to do so - we want to hear from YOU! Your feedback is instrumental in helping us develop our campus improvement plans, identify trends in specific grade levels, and further improve our communication methods so that our families feel connected and informed. Paraprofessional Appreciation Day | May 14

On May 14, Melissa ISD is celebrating Paraprofessional Appreciation Day and recognizing the incredible support staff who make a difference every day at Melissa ISD. Our paraprofessionals help students grow, support teachers, and contribute to the positive campus environment. Thank you for the many ways you serve our schools and for the heart you bring to the Cardinal Way.
