Students Shine with Enchanting Performance of Cinderella: Youth Edition Students Shine with Enchanting Performance of Cinderella: Youth Edition

Sullivan High School recently presented Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella: Youth Edition," a musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale. Performances took place at 7:30 p.m. on March 13, 14, and 15, 2025, at the school's auditorium. The production featured students from the school's music and theatre departments, who had been rehearsing for approximately three months leading up to the performances. Tickets were available at the door for seven dollars.

"Cinderella: Youth Edition" is a condensed adaptation tailored for younger performers and audiences, maintaining the original's charm and memorable songs while offering a shorter runtime suitable for school productions. The story follows Cinderella, who, despite being mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters, dreams of a better life. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, she attends the royal ball, capturing the heart of the Prince and ultimately finding her happily ever after.

The Sullivan High School production provided students with the opportunity to showcase their talents in acting, singing, and dancing, contributing to the vibrant arts culture within the school community.

A special shoutout goes to JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) students, who once again demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills in planning and executing this event. Their hard work ensured a meaningful and interactive experience for their peers, making the career fair a resounding success!
