Cheetah Newsletter May 28, 2025
From the Principal
Happy Wednesday Cherrydale Families!
Field Day is This Friday!
We’re excited to announce that our annual Field Day is happening this Friday, May 30th! We hope our Cherrydale Cheetahs are ready for a fun-filled day of games, laughter, and school spirit!
Please help your child come prepared for the day by:
Dressing for the weather and for outdoor activities.
Bringing sunscreen (students will need to apply it themselves)
Packing a change of clothes and socks if they plan to enjoy the water stations
Including a towel—it may come in handy!
This beloved tradition wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our PTA and our fantastic PE teacher, Mr. Kirby. Thank you for helping us create such a memorable experience for our students year after year!
We can’t wait for a great day outdoors with our incredible school community!
Warm regards,
Christine Firth, Principal
Lost & Found to be Donated June 13
Please stop in during office hours (8am - 4pm through June 12) to look for your student's lost items. The pile has grown exponentially since the advent of warmer weather. All items not picked up by 1:00 on June 13 will be donated.
We make every effort to return items that have names in them. To maximize the likelihood of getting lost items back when they are left on the playground, please make sure your student's belongings are clearly marked.
Challenge Coin Contest!
Individuals can submit ideas, or a whole class can work together to create a design!
All entries due by May 30. See the entry form attached below.
