ELC at George Earle Weekly Update

Hi! My name is Amy Mihalich and I am a kindergarten teacher. I graduated from Ball State University! This is my 13th year in education and 6th year at the ELC. I sponsor the Garden Club and Construction Club. I have a son, Ian, who is in pre-school this year! Some of my favorite things are being outside, riding my bike, house plants, eating fried foods and listening to hip hop music.

I'm Michelle Cicillian. Everyone at school calls me Mrs. Michelle. My husband and I have three grown girls. I have a degree in elementary education and have been at the ELC for 17 years!

Hey y’all! I’m Mrs. Galbreath and this is my first year at the ELC! Just like many of you! I am

in Room 11- the Fox Room which is in the green zone (my favorite color). I have taught

Kindergarten for 10 of my 12 years as a teacher, and I just LOVE it! I just moved back to NWI

after having lived in Florida for the past 10 years and I am so excited to be part of the

Brickie community!

My husband Paul and I have three adult children; Alex, Vanessa, and Cori! We also have

three cats; Alfredo, Parmigiano, and Reggiano. I love spending time with my family and

making things with my Cricut. I also love going on weekend adventures with my husband.

But my most favorite thing to do is to walk the beach at the Indiana Dunes early in the

morning.

I can’t wait for us to have our own little adventures at school this year! Kindergarten ROCKS

Hi, I'm Mrs. Gregory, my friends call me G. This is my 7th year at the ELC, but first year with Mrs. Galbreath. There is nowhere else I'd rather be! Can't wait to meet your babies and create lifelong bonds 💜💛

Fun Fact: I explored Seattle, Canada, and Alaska this summer!

This is my 7th year teaching at the ELC! My husband, Andrew, and I welcomed our first baby, Easton, on July 14th! Cruising, working out, and shopping are a few of my favorite things!

My name is Lisa Kilar. I have been working at the ELC for 15 years. I love working with kindergarteners. I've been married for 21 years to my husband Tom, and we have a son, Hunter, who is 20 years old. I love running and working out.

I'm Mrs. Dykhuis. I'm teaching Mrs. Van Milligan's class while she is on maternity leave. This is my first year in kindergarten. I have taught second grade, third grade and Title I reading and math intervention in Griffith and Valpo. I have lots of animals! I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses and 10 chickens. I love crafting and the color pink.

If your child isn't feeling well, please keep him or her at home. You must report the absence IN SKYWARD before 10:00AM. There is no need to call the school to let us know. If there are any questions about the absence, we will reach out to you.
