Resources for Students' Safe and Healthy Online Engagement
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students’ safe and healthy online engagement, we encourage families to explore a variety of resources related to digital citizenship, internet safety, media literacy, and navigating online communities. These guides offer practical strategies for helping children think critically about online content, build positive digital habits, and engage safely and responsibly in online spaces. Organizations such as Common Sense Media and the Southern Poverty Law Center provide helpful parent guides, toolkits, and family resources that may support conversations at home about technology use, social media, online behavior, and digital well-being. These guides emphasize the importance of helping children think critically about online content, recognize manipulative messaging, and engage in open conversations about identity, belonging, and digital safety. The resources also include practical toolkits, webinars, and family discussion strategies that may be helpful for parents navigating today’s online landscape. While Natick Schools do not endorse any specific resource, this website has been identified by many families as helpful.
- Building Resilience and Confronting Risk by the Southern Poverty Law Center
- Online Platform Management Guides by Common Sense Media
We have brought some amazing programming into Lilja this year! In order to continue giving these experiences to our students, we need your help! Please contact our team to support our team, there are ways to help that fit all schedules!
