Provincial Special Olympics
Provincial Special Olympics
We would like to say a special thank you to Mrs. Yateman, Mrs. Williams, and many Challenge students who volunteered at the Provincial Special Olympics last week here in Kingston. The students stepped up and brought energy and positive attitudes for two days, demonstrating flexibility when scheduled events were altered due to the smoke. In addition, some of our students stayed well past school hours to help out, further showcasing generosity and kindness.
We are proud of our Lancer connection! LCVI student athletes were dedicated and excited to win silver, and their unified players were so positive and supportive of their team. It was a wonderful event, and we were so excited for the opportunity to be involved!
Track and Field
Regional Track and Field Meet
Special thanks to our top-notch coaches for sharing their skills, time, and passion with students: Mr. Valberg, Mr. Raby, Ms. Boyce, and Mr. McCormac.
At this Track and Field Meet, we had a total of:
- 22 participants
- 13 volunteers
- 4 coaches
- 10 gold medals
- 12 silver medals
- 7 bronze medals
WOW! It's been an exciting Track and Field season!
