Senior Yearbook ads are available to design and purchase at jostens.com now through early February. When you visit the site, search for our school and then scroll down to "Show Your Bulldog Pride" when you are redirected and click on "2027 yearbook". You will see yearbook and yearbook package options first, but as you scroll you will see yearbook recognition ads starting at $95. You have the option to create your account and begin designing your full, half, quarter, or eighth of a page ad complete with pictures and message of your choosing. If you click learn more, there's also a tutorial video and frequently asked questions. Our Jostens rep should be able to answer additional questions at the senior meeting or through the messaging option on the website.

Fall is the prime time for seniors to begin applying for college. Many schools offer Early Decision and Early Action options, with deadlines typically in October or November.

• Early Decision is binding-if you're accepted, you must attend.
• Early Action is non-binding-you'll get an earlier decision.

Three Common Ways to Apply:

• Common App- Apply to 1,000+ colleges with one application.
• CFNC (College Foundation of North Carolina)- Offers free applications to many NC schools during College Application Week in October.
• University Websites- Apply directly to individual schools online.

Below are some helpful resources for using the Common App

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form students complete to determine their eligibility for federal financial aid, including grants, work-study, and student loans. Many colleges also use the FAFSA to determine eligibility for other types of financial aid. Completing the FAFSA is an important step in paying for college!

Need help completing the FAFSA? Coastal Carolina Community College offers appointments to help students complete the FAFSA, regardless of which college they plan to attend. Visit the CCCC website, select “Paying for College,” then click “Financial Aid and Scholarships.” Look for the appointment link titled “Assistance Completing the FAFSA.”

Questions? Contact the Financial Aid Department at finaid@coastalcarolina.edu or call 910-938-6332.

Ms. Hayes is our Career and College Promise Liaison and is here on Tuesdays to help students learn more about the dual enrollment program and the programs available at Coastal Carolina Community College after graduation.

Students, be sure to sign up to meet with Ms. Hayes in the Guidance Office. She is a wealth of information and is a great resource for all things CCP and Coastal!

NC College Connect gives eligible seniors a chance to be automatically accepted to participating colleges and universities. To qualify, students must attend a North Carolina public high school, be on track to graduate with at least a 2.8 GPA, and complete a fourth-level math course. The student's GPA will determine which colleges you are eligible for. Keep an eye out for your NC College Connect letter this fall!
