Throughout 2023 our alumni association is celebrating three decades of dedicated service to our students and the Parkway community. Anticipating an incredible year ahead, we're thrilled to announce an array of events designed for our esteemed alumni and the community. Be sure to mark your calendars for these upcoming gatherings and stay tuned for additional details.

The Albert Award recognizes new teachers for the energy and enthusiasm they bring to their students, as well as the creative and innovative practices they use in their classrooms. Named as winners for 2024 are Luke Donohoo, Henry Elementary; Kayla Komorek, Southwest Middle; and Rachel Money, West High.

The Light of Parkway Award recognizes district operations staff members who have helped to create a positive and caring environment for the people they serve. The awards are sponsored by the Parkway Alumni Association and funded by the Sandy Finch Light of Parkway Fund. The 2024 Lights of Parkway award winners are Nancy Bueltmann, Claymont Elementary; Reggie Cathey, Green Trails Elementary; and Kim Copeland, McKelvey Elementary.

This year the event will be held at Parkway Central High. Get your teammates together and come play for your alma mater.

Join us at 6:30 p.m. at Talayna's (Four Seasons Shopping Center, Chesterfield) on the second Tuesday of each month for an all-alumni networking event. Hear from alumni about their current work and meet other Parkway alumni in our community. To attend, email parkwayalumni@parkwayschools.net to be added to the meeting invite list. Dear Parkway Alumni,

As we turn the corner toward the end of the school year, it's a particularly exciting time for us at the Alumni Association! We are gearing up for our annual awards ceremony, where we'll be recognizing all our Granting Dreams recipients, awarding scholarships to graduating seniors, and celebrating the welcoming of the newest members of the Class of 2024.

This year holds special significance for us as we continue to celebrate our 30th anniversary as an Alumni Association. It's been a remarkable journey, and we're thrilled to commemorate this milestone with you all.

In light of these celebrations, we're delighted to invite you to join us for Parkway's Day at the ballpark on May 19th as we root for the St. Louis Cardinals! It promises to be a day filled with camaraderie, nostalgia, and of course, baseball. Discounted tickets are available for alumni, so mark your calendars and come join us for a fun-filled day at the ballpark.

Congratulations to West Middle students Arjun Arun and Keshav Pallavur for placing second at the First Lego League Missouri State Championship! Their team, Action Robotix, will progress to the international competition this summer. #ParkwayProud

Bringing real-world learning to school! North High students watched judges from Missouri’s Eastern District Court of Appeals conduct oral arguments as part of an actual criminal appeal case held at North High.
