MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BANKS
Dear Lindblom Families,
We are only two weeks away from winter break! Our recent "State of the School Address" confirmed that Lindblom MSA is a place where every Eagle can grow and soar. You can access the recording and slide deck via the embedded links. I'd like to call out a few noteworthy highlights:
Commendable Designation: We proudly earned a Summative Designation of "Commendable" on the 2025 Illinois Report Card. This designation reflects our commitment to excellence, including having no underperforming student groups and a strong college enrollment rate (92%).
Significant PreACT Growth: Our current 11th graders demonstrated improvement, achieving a +2.0 growth in their Composite PreACT scores from Spring '25 to Fall '25, with the highest leap in Reading at +3.0. This is a testament to focused learning and effort!
Strong Commitment to All Families: We are dedicated to ensuring our entire community feels supported and engage.
I extend a sincere thanks to our school community and Garden City Church partners for their generous donations to our 'Food Drive Thru.' It is a blessing to give and meet the needs of families in our school and neighborhood.Thank you for your ongoing partnership.
Last but not least, we need your input to understand parents' availability, preferences, and potential barriers to participation in parent-teacher conferences on Report Card Pick Up Day. We will close the survey on Monday, December 15th, and share the results when we return from winter break. (Parent Survey: Fall Report Card Day)
Together we rise onward and upward.

LMSA Alumni Day
Calling Lindblom Alumni!
We hope you are doing well in life after high school! We wanted to reach out and ask if you would be willing to participate in our upcoming Lindblom Alumni Day. This event brings Lindblom alumni back to share their experiences with our current students. From discussing how you adapted to academic expectations, to sharing insights about your college or career pathway, to offering any advice you have for our students—this is your opportunity to provide a wealth of knowledge to the next generation of Eagles.
Lindblom Alumni Day is scheduled for January 14th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be multiple presentations throughout different flex periods as part of our Colloquium Day. Please note that you do not need to attend the entire day—we welcome whatever time you are able to give. We have linked our registration form here and kindly ask that you fill it out if you are interested in participating.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Gutierrez or Ms. Salazar. Thank you!

Winter Band and Choir Concert
I hope you had a great weekend! I am writing to provide you with the Ticket Order Form for Lindblom's Annual Winter Band and Choir Concert, next Thursday, December 11th from 5:30-7:30pm. Please recall that there is a $5 admission cost for each guest who attends Lindblom's performances.
Pre-Ordering Tickets is highly recommended. In order to minimize long lines at the admissions table, guests are strongly encouraged to pre-order tickets using this form. Guests who pre-order tickets will receive an email confirmation, which will serve as your tickets for entry into Keeler Hall. You will not need to sign in at the admissions table if you pre-order tickets, and your entry into the hall will be much easier. Please make sure that the number of people in your party matches the number of guests in your confirmation email. The deadline to pre-order tickets is Monday, December, 8th. *Guests who do not pre-order tickets must pay with cash and sign in at the admissions table. Please note that these entrance fees help to fund our band and choir programs' repair, supply, and operational needs. Additional donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support of our Band and Choir Programs!
