Pope Farms Pumpkin Patch
On Wednesday, our preschool through second grade students had a wonderful time visiting Pope's pumpkin patch! It was a fun and educational outing filled with fall-themed activities. Students explored the pumpkin fields, learned about how pumpkins grow, and even got to pick out their own pumpkin to bring home. They also enjoyed the big slide, bouncing on the pumpkin pillow and zip lines.

From the Land Down Under: Australia Visits Our School
On Tuesday, guest speakers Joe and Maggie Munarin from Australia, visited Mrs. Glosson’s 8th grade Career Exploration class and Mr. Schoenecker’s 9th grade Physical Science class. In the 8th grade, they talked about their business manufacturing furniture and gave students an inside look at the Australian workforce, covering things like wages, healthcare, time off, and retirement benefits. In the 9th grade class, the Munarins discussed renewable energy in their home state of Queensland, Australia. They shared that many Australians have solar panels on their homes and that renewable energy is a major focus across the country. Both classes had the opportunity to ask any other questions they had which included questions about Australian schools, animals, sports, weather, holidays, crime rates, and the time difference. We truly appreciate Joe and Maggie for taking the time to visit. They said they were thankful for how welcoming everyone was and were especially surprised by the strong sense of patriotism in our school and community.
FASFA Workshop
Mrs. Houston recently hosted her annual FAFSA Night, providing students and their families with valuable guidance on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
