Welcome Back Staff and Students!
A message from Superintendent Curt Bradshaw
Welcome (back)! As we begin another exciting year together at the Southern Ohio ESC, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the incredible work you do in service of children, educators, and families across our region. The start of a new school year brings hope and possibility -- and this year is no different.
At the Southern Ohio ESC, we ground our work in three guiding principles that remind us of our purpose and our commitment:
- Be a Champion for Children: Every decision we make, every effort we give, and every moment of care we extend is an opportunity to positively shape the lives of students. Let's continue to be their advocates, their cheerleaders, and their role models.
- Be an Ambassador of the Southern Ohio ESC: We represent not just ourselves, but also the collective strength and reputation of our ESC. Each interaction--with schools, educators, families, community partners, and each other--is a chance to showcase the professionalism, commitment, compassion, and innovation that define who we are.
- Be Well: We cannot pour into others if we are running on empty. Prioritize your health, your joy, and your balance. When we take care of ourselves, we are better equipped to take care of those we serve.
This year will be filled with challenges, opportunities, and countless successes. Let's embrace each day with energy and optimism, knowing that together, we are making a difference. I am proud of the work we do, and even more proud of the people we are.
Here's to a year of growth, collaboration, and impact! Thank you for choosing every day to be champions, ambassadors, and whole, well individuals. The 2025-2026 school year is going to be our best yet!
With gratitude and excitement,
Curt Bradshaw
Superintendent, Southern Ohio ESC
