Welcome Back Dewey Families!
We hope you enjoyed a restful week off. As we return, we’re heading into the final two weeks of the trimester—an exciting and busy time on campus. Parent conferences, end-of-trimester recognition assemblies, the Dewey Dinner Auction Event and our annual Scholastic Book Fair are right around the corner.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. A special thank-you to our community for the incredible generosity shown during our Blanket Drive—we were overwhelmed by the number of donations collected for patients at Shriners. Your kindness truly makes a difference.

Campus and Neighborhood Safety Reminders:
As we partner to keep our students safe, we ask for your continued support during arrival and dismissal times. Please remember that dogs are not permitted on campus during school hours. If you are meeting your child at dismissal, dogs must remain on leash and off the main school grounds. Service animals are permitted.
We also ask families to use extra caution in our parking lot and on surrounding streets. Please drive slowly, follow all posted signage, and park only in designated, legal areas. Our streets are narrow, and we appreciate your help in being mindful of pedestrians, cyclists, and our neighbors.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming school community for all.
Thank you Katelyn Williams for helping us prep for the upcoming Book Fair!
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! SAVE THE DATE for March 9-13. If you're interested in being a parent volunteer for set-up Friday March 5, or during the event, please stop by the office or email Mrs. Heyde at Kathryn.heyde@sanjuan.edu

RaiseRight Update: Halfway Through the Year!
We're halfway through the school year, and it's exciting to see how teachers have been putting their RaiseRight funds to work in the classroom! So far this school year, teachers have used their accounts to purchase:
- Classroom books and library additions
- Essential classroom supplies
- Materials for specific projects and activities
- PE equipment and supplies
- Prize box goodies
- Math learning aides
- Vocabulary learning aides
Best of all, these are resources that didn't have to come out of teachers' personal pockets!
What is RaiseRight?
RaiseRight turns your everyday shopping into earnings for your child's classroom. When you purchase gift cards through RaiseRight, a percentage comes back as earnings—80% goes directly to your child's teacher's classroom account, and 20% goes into your family account to use toward school expenses like field trips. It's never too late to join!
