Thank you so much to all the families who came out to line the streets and march along with us at the York Suburban Homecoming parade! Your energy, cheerful cheering, and wonderful community spirit made the event unforgettable for our students, athletes, and performers. We are so grateful for your continued support in making York Suburban such a vibrant and tight-knit community!

Let’s keep that Trojan momentum going! Show your school spirit this Wednesday for the YES Pep Rally by wearing your favorite orange and black gear from head to toe. Let’s fill the building with pride, energy, and sea of orange and black to make this pep rally one to remember! I am looking forward to celebrating all of the respect that has been shown throughout the month of September.

Just a reminder, you're invited to join us for our beloved annual Teddy Bear Parade on October 8! Show off your school spirit by wearing your brightest orange and black, bringing cheerful signs of encouragement, and making plenty of noise as you cheer on our students. Your vibrant energy from the sidelines makes this event truly magical for our kids, and we can’t wait to celebrate together as a community! Please see the flyer below for more information.

We are looking forward to welcoming our families for upcoming conferences on Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9! These dedicated times provide a meaningful opportunity for teachers and families to connect, reflect on student progress, and set shared goals for the rest of the year. Strong partnerships between home and school are essential for helping every child thrive, and working together ensures our students have the support, encouragement, and foundation they need for a successful school year. Be sure to set up a time with your child's teacher to take advantage of this opportunity.

Just a friendly reminder to our families that there will be no school for students this Monday due to a scheduled teacher professional development day. Enjoy the extended weekend with your kids! We look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready to learn on Tuesday morning.

Free and Reduced-Price Meals Information

How to Apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals

Again this school year, all York Suburban schools will participate in the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and provide free breakfasts for all enrolled students. Additionally, students may receive free or reduced price lunches if their households meet federal income guidelines. For additional information about applying, please visit the District website or refer to the application options below.

Application Options

Option 1 - Recommended
We strongly recommend that families complete their application online in SchoolCafe. Directions for creating your account and answers to frequently asked questions are available on the Student Meal Accounts: Using SchoolCafe website.

Option 2
COMPASS, a Department of Public Welfare system, allows Pennsylvanians to apply for programs like Free & Reduced Price School Meals, Food Stamps, Energy Assistance, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), etc.

REMINDER TO PLEASE COMPLETE

PURPOSE:

It is important that we have updated health information for every student each school year, along with renewed permission for over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol, ibuprofen, Tums. The form must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian annually.

HOW TO:

Log into Infinite Campus (IC)
Click on the left hand top corner is 3 horizontal lines, go to documents
Make sure under school year is says “26-27”
Under Health is “Student Health History”. Complete the form and at the end it will ask for an e-signature from the parent or guardian completing the form.

Volunteers are a vital part of this team. We simply cannot create such wonderful experiences for our kiddos without the time, energy, and dedication of parents like you.
