Team Members of the Month
Congratulations to January's Team Members of the Month!
Before our February break, these outstanding individuals were recognized for their achievements and invited to join Mr. Smith for a delicious pancake breakfast to celebrate.
Whether they were selected for their commitment to academic excellence, their consistent kindness to others, or the way they bring a positive attitude to everything they do, we wish to thank these students for helping to make HMS the best place it can be!
Keep up the great work!
Congratulations Ms. Corriveau!
The Massachusetts Council for Social Studies is proud to announce that Ms. Amy Corriveau, World Geography and Cultures teacher for the Barracudas Team, has been selected to receive the 2026 John Reilly Award for Excellence in Teaching Geography!
Each year the Massachusetts Council for the Social Studies presents Awards of Excellence in a variety of social studies areas to educators from across the Commonwealth. Teachers, administrators, and museum educators at all levels are eligible for recognition. Named in memory of a high school teacher and founding member of the Southeastern Massachusetts Geography Alliance, the Reilly Award for Excellence in Teaching Geography is presented each year to an exceptional teacher of geographic content and skills.
The letters and supporting materials submitted by her colleagues on Ms. Corriveau’s behalf describe a truly accomplished and inspiring educator. Amidst a remarkably strong field of candidates, Amy’s talents and contributions to her students and school stood out.
Congratulations, Ms. Corriveau! We are truly lucky to have her as a member of our faculty.
Proceed with Caution!
