Our NAHS students are excited to offer Pet Portraits for our staff as a way to use their gifts and talents to raise money for a local charity.

Our Pet Portraits will be created using acrylic paint on canvas panels. Due to demanding student schedules, portraits will be painted in the order they are received but can still take up to a few months to complete. Once your portrait is complete, you will be emailed a photo of your completed artwork along with a MySchoolBucks payment link, payment must be paid prior to pick up. Again, please remember we are dealing with students and their busy schedules, so it's important to be flexible.

All pet portraits are a minimum of a $53.00 donation including tax/MSB fee. Funds raised are used to donate to a local charity like the SPCA. A small amount is kept to replace supplies. Students spend more than 5 hours on each painting so this is a way for them to use their gifts and talents to serve the community.

HIGH SCHOOL

At Rock Hill High School, the Black Student Union, led by Mr. London and Ms. Battles, is making an impact on their campus. Today, we are proud to recognize this organization as the recipient of the Club of the Month Award.

Mr. London and Ms. Battles have gone above and beyond to nurture and support students outside of the classroom, fostering a sense of pride, connection, and purpose. Their dedication to guiding and inspiring the next generation of leaders is evident in the club’s continued success and positive influence.

Congratulations to Mr. London, Ms. Battles, and the Black Student Union for this well-deserved recognition!

MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Libros Club at Jones, sponsored by Ms. Bermudez, is a group of over 30 student volunteers who work diligently to care for the library, offering valuable support both before and after school. These students go above and beyond, having completed a test to demonstrate their library knowledge in order to participate in volunteer shifts. Since then, they’ve been hard at work shelving books, assisting patrons, and even helping out when their classmates visit the library.

Congratulations to Ms. Bermudez and The Libros Club for their outstanding work and dedication!
