The Weekly Update #4

What an amazing week it’s been at Spring Leadership Academy! From celebrating Hispanic culture to watching our 8th graders explore their future pathways, our campus has been full of excitement and pride.

It was wonderful seeing our students share their cultures through colorful outfits and our staff celebrating with delicious food! Our 8th graders also had a blast visiting Randall Reed for the CTE Pathways Showcase. Many returned to campus energized and ready to start the high school application process with new ideas about what they’d like to study next year.

Parents, take a few moments this week to chat with your 8th graders about what they experienced at the showcase — they have so much to share!

🍂 Fall Break is Here!

Just a friendly reminder that Fall Break is next week, October 13–17, 2025. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved week of rest, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. Maybe even treat yourself to a pumpkin spice latte at the pumpkin patch or a cozy apple-picking trip!
We’ll see everyone back on campus Monday, October 20, 2025.

The PTO is raising funds by selling Boo Grams!

You can purchase using Cash App or Zelle. Keep an eye out for the dates when students can buy Boo Grams during lunch! All Boo Grams will be delivered on October 31st.

🎤 “Nacho Average” TELPAS Night!

We’re excited to invite our bilingual and ESL families to our upcoming “Nacho Average” TELPAS Night! Parents will have the special opportunity to listen to their child’s TELPAS speaking section and celebrate their growth in English language development.

There will be nachos, certificates for students exiting the program, and lots of fun!
Stay tuned for the official date and details — this is definitely nacho average night of celebration! 🌮🎉

🎃 Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat Wish List! 🍬

Families, our Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat is right around the corner on October 30th, and we need your help to make it amazing! We’ve created an Amazon Wish List full of candy and fun items to make this event a sweet success. Students who bring in donations will receive a FREE DRESS PASS!
