Mora Elementary Newsletter

We had the pleasure of having Joani Ellingson in Mrs. Westling's fourth grade classroom. Joani presented the students with many wonderful things that she has found on the beach during her winters in Florida. She did a wonderful job explaining the different items to the students. She provided each student with a bag full of seashells, shark teeth, bones, turtle shells, and many more "sea" treasures. We are thankful that Mrs. Ellingson took the time to share her experiences with the students!

Fifth grade classes helped work the soil in our raised beds and plant outside this week in the 5th grade school garden. Some things planted include lettuce, kale, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and cucumbers. We are looking forward to watching our garden grow this summer!
