Dear Franklin Families,

It’s hard to believe, but the start of the 2026–2027 school year is just around the corner—and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back!

To help ensure a smooth and successful return, please take a few moments to review the important flyers below. These include key dates, reminders, and helpful tips to support you and your child as we begin another amazing school year together.

Here are a few important reminders to help you prepare:

Way Home Form: Please complete the Way Home form in PowerSchool under the Forms tab so we know how your child will be getting home each day.
Transportation Requests: If your transportation needs have changed and you now require a bus, please complete the Mid-Year Transportation form in PowerSchool.
DashPass App: Be sure to download the DashPass app to help streamline our dismissal process from day one.

We can’t wait to see you at our Meet & Greet events next week! Check the flyer below for your child’s date and time. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with teachers and ease into the new school year together.

Practice Safe Technology Use

Students can sometimes come across inappropriate images or videos online, especially without clear guidelines around technology use. Having open conversations about appropriate vs. inappropriate websites can help them make safe choices.

It’s also helpful to set limits on screen time to reduce eye strain and support healthy sleep habits. Please see the resources below for guidance on encouraging responsible digital citizenship:

2026-2027 Academic Calendar

Family FAST Portal:

Once your child has completed their FAST state tests, you can view their scores online! Follow the steps below to access the FAST Family Portal:

Log in to PowerSchool.
Click on Student IDs.
Scroll down to FAST Family Portal Credentials.

Click the provided link.
Be sure to write down the FAST Access Code - you’ll need it once the link opens the portal page.

Follow the prompts on the FAST website and enter all required information, including your child’s name, date of birth, and the FAST Access Code.

Once logged in, you’ll be able to see all FAST state test scores from this year and previous years.

Raptor Service Hour Account

First-time Portal Users: To Access the Volunteer Portal, you are required to complete a one-time “Volunteer Application”. Once the application is approved, you will receive an email with instructions on the next steps, including a link to setup your portal password. All information will remain confidential.

Returning Portal Users: Click HERE to sign in.

FORTIFYFL - SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING

Fortify FL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows students to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.

QUICK AND EASY SAFETY TIP SUBMISSION

By accessing Fortify FL, students can provide a description of the threat, share pics, and videos and optionally submit their contact information. Submissions can be anonymous or non-anonymous. Submitting a tip is quick and easy using our mobile app or website.

All Franklin Academy students have access to Fortify FL via their Clever portal dashboard.
