Thank you to all of the parents who are willing to serve our community and represent parents on this very important committee.
The Lodi USD Strategic Plan
Earlier this year, our community in Lodi and in North Stockton got together (schools staff and families together) to give their input on the future direction of the schools in our district.
Last week we looked at Focus Area #3 - Future Readiness and Success. This week, I want to share the 4th Focus Area of our Strategic Plan.
Focus Area #4 - Employee Success
- Ensure Competitive Compensation and Benefits
- Strengthen Employment Systems and Employee Experience
- Expand Professional Learning, Growth and Advancement
- Cultivate a Positive Culture Districtwide
At the school level, our site's school plan includes planning for professional growth and learning opportunities for our staff. π«
We believe strongly that having well-prepared teams of teachers and staff is a huge part of how we help our students to succeed. Already this year, we have had opportunities for professional learning for our certificated and classified staff in a number of different ways. Some ways that we've utilized include inviting coaching support from our district's expert coaching team as well as inviting consultants onto our campus to provide professional learning experiences for staff during the school day.
Most importantly, our staff works hard to promote a culture of positivity and collaboration.π€
As we continue in this year, I look forward to sharing other ways in which our school is starting to work towards the goals of our community.
Parklane's Fall Intersession is Coming!
We hope that you will consider this great opportunity for additional school support over the two week break. Please see the flyer below for details. For questions, please reach out to the Parklane office or Ms. Ket from the after-school bridge program.

Phones down, heads up. Creating connections in the classroom.
As we settle back into the routines of school, please help us remind your children that their phones should be put away during school. During school hours, campuses are a "no phone zone" and students will be expected to keep their phones off and put away.
This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world. For more information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.lodiusd.net/be-present.
