We want to thank you for partnering with us to successfully navigate another school year! This will be our last weekly missive for a while, but please keep an eye on your inbox, as we have been known to send updates throughout the summer regarding school-related happenings.

We will for sure be in touch later in July as we get closer to walkthroughs and school year prep!

For now, we wish you all a fun-filled, safe summer. Enjoy your time together and we look forward to hearing all about the amazing things you did!

If your child was unable to attend the last day of school to receive their yearbook, you may stop by to pick it up beginning June 1st between the hours of 9 AM and 2 PM.

Photos of this year's ceremony were taken by Visual Image Photography (VIP). You will receive an email about a week after Recognition with information on how to view and order. Please contact VIP at support@vipis.com with any questions.

Have a student entering kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, 9th or 12th grades? They will need some updated information on file with the health office. Go to the Barrington 220 website for more information.

Earlier this week, all PK-11 families should have received emails about completing Online Registration for the upcoming school year. Please take a few minutes before the end of the school year and complete this! Additional reminder communication will go out in June for families that have not completed OLR. Future 7th and 8th graders should hold onto their PE uniforms and keep them in a safe place, as they will use them throughout all three years of middle school. If you need to purchase a new uniform, each item is $10 (red shirt, black shirt, and shorts) or $30 for the full set.

For our incoming 6th graders, we recommend knowing your size before purchasing your uniform and sizing up so it lasts as long as possible as you grow throughout your middle school years!

All items should be labeled with the student’s first and last name (e.g., Jane Doe/John Doe) in black Sharpie on the white nameplate. Please make sure it is written in large, clear, legible text and does not include drawings, so items can be easily returned if misplaced.

Our friends at Code Ninjas have put together the Create Program to help middle school students build a strong foundation for future success in computer science. Students will get early exposure to key computer science concepts through JavaScript practice and the Code Ninjas AI Academy. Registration for fall athletics for the 2026–2027 school year is open now! Students interested in participating in fall sports are encouraged to complete their registration and must have a current physical on file to participate.
